Motorcycle carriers?

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by agttr, Oct 4, 2007.

  1. Bought my daughter a XR100 but have no ute or trailer to transport it around, just the trusted family station wagon, and keen on getting a motorbike carrier like this st3401.
anyone got one or similar that they've used for a while and can recommend?

Basically something that I can have on the tow bar.

  2. Well it depends how heavy the bike is, I know my tow ball load rating is 80KG's
  3.  Top
  4. Yeah that's not bad, a little bit bulkier than I had in mind.

Searched through Netrider links and came across these. http://www.ezimotow.com.au/
Anyone have one or rate them? They look ideal but the price is putting me off, as it'll be more expensive than the pre-loved (used & abused) bike it'll carry.
  5. There is a heck of a lot of leverage exerted on the towbar from one of those carriers; if you are going to use one make sure you check the fixings of the towbar (and straightness) before, during and after use!
