Mirror Finish Metal Polish

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' at netrider.net.au started by 2wheelsagain, Aug 12, 2008.

  1. Anyone use Mirror Finish if so what's it like compared to Autosol?

I want to remove a heat mark from my cat converter (stainless steel)

  2. I've used it on some 316 grade stainless fittings on my boat (because I couldn't get hold of any Flitz - an American brand metal polish that is used in aviation a bit) only recently and it worked a treat for me. The fittings were pretty smooth to start with and I used a run-of-the-mill cheapy GMC buff (the thing that doubles as a speed controllable 6500rpm angle grinder) and it worked OK for me.

    Regards,

    Taily.
