mid-pipes for 'universal fit mufflers?'

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by flo, Oct 9, 2004.

  1. hi there

I just got my hands on a universal fit 4" supertrapp muffler for my 200cc

dual purpose yamaha- and couldnt find a place that could make me a

mid-pipe to fit it. does anyone know where i could get this done (and at

around what price)? I live innerwest of sydney - anywhere near

burwood/strathfield/campsie/lakemba (even paramatta) or around there

would do nicely. I'm new and sorry for being a pest- Thanks for your

    help guys- :D
  2. i would check out any place that do custom exhausts
  3. mate
    i had a similar situation
bought a set of F1headers and pipe ..but also had a megacyle muffler
which needed an extension to the F1 pipe to fit
i went down my local (car) exhaust joint
the guy there got some stainless steel exhaust pipe.. 2"
and bent it (and belled it at one end to fit) to fit from the
    headers on..... cost $50
    fits beautiful....
    tyr your local!
