Micro Camera Shows the Workings of a Combustion Engine

Discussion in 'Multimedia' at netrider.net.au started by arc, Oct 12, 2009.

  1. Someone had the great idea of putting a high-pressure, heat-resistant camera inside the cylinder of a four-stroke engine. Shooting at 1000 fps, the camera recorded just exactly what happens to make engines run. Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow!

  2. Heh. No wonder us blokes like em so much.
  3. Cool video.

Shame they couldn't have let it run for another few seconds to finish the exhaust (blow) stoke.

Maybe the camera burnt out or something.
