Mentor needed for 'fraidy cat

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' started by Lyn, Mar 22, 2008.

  1. Hi all

Is there anyone living around the Bayswater Nth (Vic) area that could spare some time for a bit of mentoring and a short local ride or 2 to help me find my wheels (feet) on my new bike.

I have just bought a Harley Sporster XL but don't know anyone to ride with who could share the odd pointer or 2 and am still a bit nervous going it alone!

If you think you can help put my mind at ease and get me back out in the breeze please send me a PM.

  2. What did you ride previously?
  3. Hi there

Many moons ago I had a pokey little RD Yamaha and a not so pokey RZ that I never really liked and also spent some time riding trailbikes offroad. I always wanted a Harley but after a long time looking, I could never find one small enough for me to manage....until now. It only took them a squillion years to build one that is just perfect for me!
  4. I'm up for going for a ride with you but i don't have lots of advice.

cept for things like, don't eat yellow snow.

    pm me if you want.
