  1. Hooray for the latest round of knee jerk reactions for the citylink tunnels: lane changing prohibited.

Three lanes at 2am - stuck behind a truck in the left lane with noone else around - stiff.

Eastbound on the burnley tunnel - enter from the westgate - goodluck getting off at the next exit if you aren't allowed to get into the next lane. What happens when they paint the only unbroken lines 20 metres before the exit like they did with the eastern distributor in sydney - even more fcukups by clueless drivers!

What about not feeling safe next to these cager and truck driving freaks? Nah, big fines supposedly.

Makes sense for countries with long tunnels with sensible people and no tunnel exits. As for australia? muhahaha. Anyone think it'll last?
  2. You know I was gonna post a thread in relation to this today...while it was a tragedy that people lost their lives how typical is the reaction of the government and the safetycrats...IF people were taught how to fcuking drive well in the first place lane changes would be safer...how stupid to ban lane changeing no matter where it takes place..if you cannnot change lanes safely you shouldn't have a license...I for one will treat these laws with the contempt they deserve
  3. wasn't the accident caused by the truck driver answering his phone?
