Hooray for the latest round of knee jerk reactions for the citylink tunnels: lane changing prohibited. Three lanes at 2am - stuck behind a truck in the left lane with noone else around - stiff. Eastbound on the burnley tunnel - enter from the westgate - goodluck getting off at the next exit if you aren't allowed to get into the next lane. What happens when they paint the only unbroken lines 20 metres before the exit like they did with the eastern distributor in sydney - even more fcukups by clueless drivers! What about not feeling safe next to these cager and truck driving freaks? Nah, big fines supposedly. Makes sense for countries with long tunnels with sensible people and no tunnel exits. As for australia? muhahaha. Anyone think it'll last?
