  2. Was a while ago but last time I was there, yes there was.
More dirt between Seaview and Hallston too. Pretty muddy when wet.
    Fantastic country though.
  3. Looks like a fun ride myself and another few newer riders will be out the same day similar route might see you guys around. How many you got goin mate?
  4. Tempted...

.......eeek 95k to get to starting point.
  5. Thanks, may cut out the bit south of Mirboo North if there's too much gravel.

    Dunno yet.

Yes, well, I wish Gippy was closer too.
If it's any consolation, Mine's 104km to the Starting point.
  6. Depends if the bike wants to play, it didn't this morning. How bad / are the dirt sections? Suitable for a road bike?
  7. I'll see you in the morning with a coffee in hand!

As for gravel, mud or sand. I don't really care.

    For some inspiration.

  8. Ya should be able to do 100 on Ya ear. Where you coming from?
  9. From what I can make out there is a fair bit very fine gravel.
I'd be happier if I could take the bitumen route if that's ok, and meet up mirboo nth from longwarry.
  10. I want to do this route but there's too much gravel. Maybe next summer.
I have heard that south of Mirboo Nth is mostly gravel. So check out the new route below.

I'll be coming over the WestGate Bridge at 7.30am ish

I can tell you, if mud like you see on that photo shows up, I'll be doing a U turn.
    See You'all in th Morning.

  11. I believe there is a small bit of gravel on the route, You should be fine.
We are not going to Mirboo Nth. see pic.
If you want zero gravel, then don't do the left turn to Grand ridge rd, and just go strait to Kurrumburra.
  12. ah crap.
on the pushie tomorrow- gunna miss this, but i have been down there a bit of late; all roads would be easily travelled on a road bike, mild corrugation only, but watch out for wet spots- will still be damp in some places.

well done for putting up this ride boike, have fun !!!
  13. Thank you, enjoy your day.
  14. Thanks for the info.
    Enjoy your Day.
  15. Count me in for this one been ages since I've been on a group ride. Actually rode some of these roads solo last week, the roads from Warragul to Korumburra are pretty sweet. More than comfortable with gravel/dirt or mud.
See you guys in the morning!
  16. Sounds good.
    See you in the morning
  17. you too guys...
  18. What a day. Some of the best roads I've ridden, and I live in Gippsland!
Thanks to WMB for setting it all up.
  19. What time did you pass through Kurumburra ?

  20. We left Kelly's just before midday. When we left there was a bucket load of Ulysses riders there.
