  1. Interesting case been played out recently in the Ballarat courts (full article).
Essentially the guy had been tailgated, run off the road, threatened and harassed by another person in the past - after being ignored by the Police he used a rifle to scare them off himself. He was then arrested by Police on several charges (all later dropped) and he's now been awarded $95,000 for unlawful imprisonment by the cops. Seems to me if the Police had just done their job in the first place (and followed up on the original complaints), they could have saved themselves a lot of time and money. Maybe they should start taking complaints of tailgating and dangerous driving a little more seriously, before things escalate .

  2. saved US!!!!!!!!! a lot of money
  3. Again, it's the usual case of "pointing a car at someone with intent to maim is fine, but the moment a rifle is brought into question..."

Right now in SA there's a case of a guy running over his girlfriend in his Commodore. He's charged with murder, but if found guilty he'd no doubt only receive a $3000 fine...
  4. Yes !! That guy deserves to be locked up. They had an argument or something and he feels he should run her over. Dickhead.
  5. SA........don't get me started. The state where a politician can hit and run, kill a cyclist and get off!
