  1. Although the 2 are kinda related- :-k depending on the tab, in last addition of new scientist as guide to best online video was this one, a tad amusing ol chap.

or skydiving from space, at an altitude of over 30kms-he reached 988kmh and was in freefall for 4 1/2 mins and holds numurous records for the feat- video is 7 mins long

There's more listed in the mag, but they all are about quantum electrodynamics and the like, and make me realise how stoooopid I dun is.
  2. THAT'S got nothing to do with drugs; that's the Army as normal .
  3. "One man climbing a tree to feed the birds."
  4. The amazing part is that although he made that jump in 1960, his record still stands. For some reason nobody else seems interested in jumping from high-flying baloons and I just have to ask, why? You'd think it should be fun, and not that hard either, I mean, all you have to do is fall - no way to screw this up :)
  5.
  6. Umm Paul, how would they have told the difference?
  7. I would want very strong drugs, before I jumped.
  8. There's something a wee bit funny about the army video. The footage is all legit, Sterling SMG's, SLR's etc, but the voiceover doesn't sound right.
