lowering the bars on a Kawasaki 650RL

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' started by drjay555, May 23, 2011.

  1. hi all
has anyone lowered their handlebars on a Kawasaki 650RL?
love the bike but after having recently ridden my son's Suzuki SV 650 , I love the ease of riding and turning thanks to the lower bars....
(my son wont swap, and BTW he wants to raise his bars!!)

  2. Mate go see you local bike shop. You can get a flatter bend type bar.
The RL's have a high bend bar set for more comfort. There are plenty of makes, even colours you can get them in. Gold bars look good on a black bike for mine.
  3. If you want local http://www.mmpc.net.au/ stock a vast array of gilles tooling & lsl clipons & handlebars.
If you want overseas the www is an endless source for both info and online retailers as well as ebay.
If you want cheap go to your local motorcycle wreckers and they should be able to sort you out with what you're after.
  4. thanks guys. will certainly give them a look
