lowering a 2008 ninja 250?? (lowering links or de-stroking)

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' at netrider.net.au started by jarrodGPX, Sep 10, 2008.

  1. Hey guys, been looking around alot and cant find much on lowering a 08 ninja 250 in australia?

Seems to be a few loweing links and kits available in the USA, but nothing in AUS.

I've called a few placed and have been told the options are lowering links, or de-stroking? Is there a benefit of one compared to the other?

Does anyone know of any lowering kits available in Aus? has anyone got any experience with lowering links? do they throw off the bikes balance or handling at all?

ANY info on lowering would be much appreciated.

    Cheers guys,
    Jarrod

  2. Ive only heard bad things about lowerd bikes, i think it would probably be a waste if your time and effort unless your a real shortie and cant reach the ground with at least half of your foot.
