Low beam not working

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by littleal, Dec 7, 2007.

  1. HI Folks,I noticed this afternoon that my low beam headlight has stopped working.
    Being new to motorbikes,
Possible causes, FUSE ,low beam element,
Ido not know what it could be?
    & how does one go about finding the cause?&how to fix it? :? :? :? :? :?

    (mod: please don't use all-caps.)
  2. Probably just need to replace the bulb. Give that a shot and let us know how it goes.
  3. Yes you were right it was just a bulb.
But now the light does not come on until the motor is started.

    cheers al
  4. That's hardly a problem... My kwaka only turns its light on when the engine's started - but when you kill the motor, the light stays on. It means you don't run the battery down before you start the bike.
