Lonely bike

  1. Hi All, I'm heading away for 6 weeks and unfortunately my VTR can't come. I probably won't be able to get anyone to ride it/run it in the 6 weeks so it will be sitting under a bike cover which is under an awning between the house and shed which doesn't get much direct sunlight.

Any tips on things I should do before I leave?

  2. 6 weeks is nothing. Fill up the petrol tank, if you want to be a bit careful. Maybe chuck a few spoonfuls of metho in the tank when you get back.
  3. Probably wouldn't hurt to pull your battery out and leave it inside, or at least somewhere warmish with a stable temp, other than that as Ibast said six weeks is nothing.
  4. Get some one to feed the cat? Get the mail redirected?

    The bike will be fine.
  5. attach a large vicious dog to it....
  6. Hire a babysitter?
