Loan of Chain Rivet Tool - Canberra Area

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by zrxbrett, Dec 15, 2009.

  1. Hi,

Just fitted new chain and sprockets to my 92 dr 650. Does anyone in the Canberra area have a chain rivet tool for a 520 chain I can borrow?

Leave your contact number in your reply and I will get back to you.

  2. I think I picked mine up for $20. I've used it 2-3 times, so I consider it money well spent.
  3. All the RK chains ive bought have been clip type ones, I simply count the amount of links I need and (bench) grind the tops of the pins and pop the side plate at the end off the links I dont want.
