  1. Probably a tangent of the 'How Long You Been Riding' Thread. Take a trip down memory lane and list the bikes you have owned (and remember ) since you started riding.
Through the mists of a foggy memory mine goes something like this -:

    - 1978 Yamaha 250
    - 1977 Honda CB 750 K something
    - 1980 Kawasaki Z1000A MK2
    - 1977 Kawasaki Z750
    - 1980 something Honda XL500
    - 1986 KTM 500
    - 1956 BSA M21 (restoration)
    - Mid 90's KTM 620 LC4
    - 1975 Kawasaki Z1B (restoration)
    - 2005 Triumph Speedmaster
    - 2002 Harley Fatboy
    - BMW R1100GS
    - 2005 KTM 640 ADV
    - Currently 2005 CBR1000RR that is soon to be ditched for another BMW. Prob R1150 or 1200RT.

Favourite would be the '80 Kwaka Z1A MkII (y)

  3. Bugger !! Powers that be can get rid of this one then.
  4. where?

    Honda CD250 (then)
    Suzuki GSX1400 (now)
  5. This is the year I first owned them, not necessarily the year of the bike
Unfortunately it also shows my age.

    1979 suzuki GP125
    1980 Yamaha RD250LC
    1981 Honda XR 175
    1981 BSA 500 Gold Star

Emigrated to Australia and gave up motorcycling

    2010 V Star 650
    2010 1982 suzuki gs650e (project bike)
    Due April 2012 Ducati Diavel
  6. Some interesting bikes there, your choice is a little all over the place at the moment with the Fatboy then the GS then the KTM and the CBR. Its just a sign of a passion of bikes when you want every bike.(y)
  7. You could say that, lol. A lot of the bikes were due to circumstance and location. A road bike wasn't much fun when there was about 3 corners per 1000km but I had a few million acres to ride around unrestricted.
The CBR was I guess a revisit to the past of sorts but having ridden it for a few months now my body isn't what it used to be and for Victorian roads a GS or KTM 640 is more appropriate. Putting it bluntly Vic roads are shit....
