Licence Plate Dont Fit ?

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by kingy, Dec 9, 2011.

  1. Hey guys

transferd my bike from QLD to NSW yesterday ... but there is a problem !!!!!! the NSW licence plate doesn't fit the STOCK number plate holder ????? i require about 1mm each side to make it fit.. if i re drill the holes out the plate will just snap through..

anyone know of another way for this to fit ?

  2. i had to punch holes in my plate to make it fit, they were out by about an inch either side

one option is to elongate the hole slightly and use small washers to stop the bolts pulling through, though it'd be neater if you bored the plate holder and had washers on the back rather than the front
