Left boot zips keep splitting

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by Pommyman, Jun 9, 2007.

  1. Hi all,
I have now had the left boot zip on my second pair of boots (Thomas Cook) split after taking back the first (Motodry) and am wondering if it's maybe me that's the problem?
Has anyone else had this happen to them and if so how did they fix it?

  2. The boot with "L" on it goes on the foot that changes gears. The other boot operates the rear brake and goes on the other foot.

Dunno mate. Do they go on ok?
Some people have one foot bigger than the other and I have trouble with my insteps and high arch.
  3. Really, there's a difference in the two? :p

Serious, they both fit quite nicely and are comfortable enough without being too cramped. I think I'm just going to take these ones back too and maybe look at a totally different boot.
  4. Don't forget the left one gets a lot more wear (more movement up and down)......maybe?

Try switching them and see if the same boot goes again! Brilliant!

No don't thank me for great ideas - I have plenty of them....
