leather fitment

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by Atlas, Jan 6, 2007.

  1. hi folks

trying on some leathers, and just a quick q: on fitment.

when in seated postion on the bike, is the lower part of your back (just above the tail bone) meant to be slightly exposed or not?

arms etc everything else fits fine, just worried that its abit short length wise..

  2. Do you want ANY of yoruself exposed that's meant to be covered by leather?

Or are you fond of showing off your plumber crack...

My RJays leather jacket, which would be a standard sports leathers covers over my Draggins, if that is any help. I guess if you had low slung jeans on you might get a gap.
  3. Your standard leather jacket will be a bit longer. If its a sports/bling jacket then yes it will be on the short side..
  4. thanks for the replies.. i ended up buying alpinestars.
  5. nice
