Discussion in 'The Pub' started by russ, Jun 6, 2007.

  1. it is a long shot, but does anybody here have any first hand knowledge of lanc programming?

have a couple of questions to ask...

  2. keep shooting mate :)
whilst ur at it go buy a lottery ticket... u'll have more luck there

i wouldn't even know where u'd use lanc programming... lan parties maybe???
  3. whats "lanc"??
  4. hmm never mind then

lanc (or Control-L) is the remote camera control protocol used by sony and canon
  5. You talking IR or wired?
  6. it's wired...

i have the hex command list, i'm jsut looking to find out if it is possible to push values that will break the camera.

i'd rather not use untried code on a 10k camera if it will break it
  7. Sorry cant vouch for breaking it with commands. But I can help if you need a microprocessor programmed to push the commands in.
