Korroroit creek road bike stack

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by robsalvv, Dec 9, 2005.

  1. One of my team members just told he saw a mbike stack into the back of a car in spectacular style. Apparently the rider is ok - well, relatively.

Korroroit creek road is normally an 80km zone, but has a 60km zone section due to road works. Apparently a tentative driver slowed down more than the 60 causing a bit of a queue to develop. A bike heading east, apparently came over the railway tracks at high speed, saw the build up of cars and stoppied all the way into the back of the last car.

    That would have been spectacular.

The guy ended up with quite a few cuts and gashes - no idea about the bike.

Hope the rider is Ok and has learned a valuable lesson about roadcraft and speed for conditions and in light of the other thread regarding insurance... is all paid up!

    Wonder whether it's someone here??

    Stay frosty people.
