Kawasaki z250c single valve

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by jrod, Jan 12, 2012.

  1. I am (poorly) putting back together an 81 kawasaki z250 c and have bent the outlet valve thanks to some poor valve adjustment on my part.

Anyone know a good supplier in melbs?

  2. Hi jrod,

I too have an 81 z250c and had to replace my intake valve after the timing chain went.

I picked mine up from ebay after searching for an OEM part on the vesrah website

Kawasaki wanted to charge me over $300 for the set, I think I bought mine from ebay for ~$60

even though my intake was the bent one, I bought a set and replaced both. If I still have my old (non bent) exhaust valve lying around somewhere (just have to find it) I would be happy to send it your way if you shout the postage.

I also have a blog post on my website showing how I did mine if you have any trouble compressing your springs.
