Kawasaki ER6nL Gear Shift Lever

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by Krish, May 9, 2014.

  1. Hi folks,
Can't seem to figure out if the gear shift lever on the ER6nL is adjustable. I don't see that shaft that most YouTube vids demonstrate with. I'm having to lift my left foot off the lever to downshift the way it is right now.

Also, am I able to put a heel toe gear shift lever on the ER6nL?

  2. Can you post a pic of your gear lever?
  3. If there's no adjustment rod, remove the gear lever from the selector shaft and rotating it one spline to see if that is a more comfortable position for you. Usually a 10mm bolt or perhaps a 5 or 6mm hex key.

  5. Get a permanent marker and run a striat line through the side of the lever and the input shaft. So you know where it was and how far to move it. And no a heel toe wont work on an ER
