Kawasaki ER-5 - LAMS or not?

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' started by chrome, Jun 16, 2009.

  1. Looking at a second hand ER-5 for my first bike, but I can't find it on the RTA LAMS approved list. They have an ER500 listed. Are they equivalent?

  2. Yep, its a LAMS bike.
  3. I know that here in Victoria its LAMS.
  4. Yeah its just that it's not on the official list.

Reading that page suggests it must be on that list, or you can't ride it with a restricted license. Not sure I want to risk it :/
  5. From the site.

    Its one of those.
  6. Just confirming what everyone else has said, yes it's LAMS. A guy here at work bought one soon after getting his learners.
  7. You could always confirm it by going to dealer with a demo and check the rego label, a new one should have lams written on the rego label right?
