K1200GT broken plug

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by MotoMick, Dec 1, 2015.

  1. Hello gurus as the title states I have a broken ignition wire on my ride. It all started when my bike would cut out whenever I turned the handlebars and a quick look on google pointed towards the ignition. Well the broken wire was easy to find but my question is
Does anybody know the part number or the part name for a new plug
It is a heatset 3 pin plug but only using 2 of them
The plug sit at the front underneath the ignition key
    Any help would be appreciated
    Cheers Mick

  3. If it's a three pin only using two pins can you not use the other pin/wire?
  4. Edit to OP the plug is the one that sits underneath and behind the 4 pin plug from the ignition
    unfortunately not
  5. You could always redo both the male and female sides with new plugs if it's difficult to locate.
