is my clutch covered under warranty?

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by livingstonest, Sep 6, 2005.

  1. hey guys i think i may have burnt my clutch as described in yesterdays thread:

question is if i bought it from a dealer and its about 1.5 months old, i got 3 month warranty. by any chance should i/can i expect any cover for the work on this clutch if in fact this is the problem? or is this totally my own damn fault which i am suspecting and i'll have to fork out the full amount for clutch repair/replacement which i'm fearing may equate to quite a sum?
  2. Usual story is (even on a new bike)...all components eg actuator, thrust bearing etc, are covered.....plates are not. On a used bike even those others might not be.
