  1. Looking for some advice from you fine fellows:

I have a quote for $1000 repairs for some damage a guy did to my bike. He's admitted guilt in the police report.
He's not offering to pay me.

Should i take him to court?
Should i use a lawyer and if so can anyone recomend one?
Will the court be able to make him pay if he says he has no money?

    Thanks in advance..
  2. Never gone thrue with this but looked into it once

Small claims court u dont generaly need a lawyer
    Court will deceide Guilt
If he claims he has no money court will asses his situation and could let him of if they after assesment deem he is not able to repay.

I would go thrue with it court cost is not excessive and if he doesnt show up verdict goes to your favour automaticly
  3. And from memory it only costs you about $36 to lodge.
