is it a fuel problem?

  1. well ive had this bike 03 YZF-R6 for 3 years now and the first problem that has come up. Only happened this morning, when i take off from first it feels like its running out of petrol but when it gets a little higher in the RPM's its fine.

Im not sure is it a fuel problem, sensor problem or bad fuel? I have no idea and want to exhaust my options before bringing it to the yammie dealer

  2. Couldl be a lot of things.

I tend to find these power losses under load tend to be plugs and/or leads. Thoug fuel is also an option.

Also see the "bike cut out low revs" post as thats also a yamaha.
