So, sitting in bed browsing the interwebs just now... I hear a rustling sound just outside my bedroom door. I look, but don't see anything. A few moments later, a mouse scurries in and makes his way into my wardrobe... I hear some noises as he does whatever it is he's doing in there (no idea... there's no food in there of course), and also as he makes his way behind my TV cabinet. A short time later, out he comes and out towards the middle of the floor... where I spot him in full view and flinch/gasp... to which he's like "Arggh.. shit! Spotted!" and he made a rather humorous maneuver to the skirting board and out of my bedroom. As you may have noted... I flinched *and* gasped at the sight of a mouse. I am now also unable to sleep, knowing there is a mouse inside. Mice/small rodents/cockroaches are one of my irrational fears. Generally, anything like that that can move faster than I can... freaks me out no end. Like... to the point now where I will avoid putting my feet on the floor unless I have shoes on... which is annoying, because the light over my desk is still on. I'm now also having a relapse of OCD as to what it may have been doing in my wardrobe. Maybe it was trying on my a* SMX-4's? lol We just had our psychotic cat put down 2 weeks ago. And this is the first mouse inside the house I can remember for ages. I guess he was good for something other than randomly scratching/biting our legs after all. Only a few hours until Coles opens and I can go and buy a mousetrap... Am I alone in having a stupid irrational fear here?
