Interstate Bike Transport/Sales

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' at netrider.net.au started by jimmythehuman, Nov 23, 2006.

  1. I ahve some questions about buy9ing a bike from some one online interstate.

    1. How do you set up a transaction like this? I wouldnt want to pay unless the bike was on the way, and of course no one would send unless the buyer has paid - a quandry?

    2. Who is the best/cheapest for bike transport from Sydeny to Melb? What should i expect to pay?

    3. Anyone got any experience with this type of thing? did it work ok for you? horror story?

    Many thanks
  2. get up there, and ride her home.
  3. http://www.escrowaustralia.com.au

    Around the $300 mark.

As poster above says .. with teh price of a melb->syd 1-way airline ticket these days, often works out cheaper, safer, and more fun to go get it yourself :)
  4. I got my VTR transported Syd / Melb back in april this year through These guys http://www.callmts.com.au/

$375 door to door Padstow in Syd to Berwick here in melb, great service and turned up right on the time they said they would, for both pick up and delivery.
