  1. this is from the tasmanian motorbike handbook

    P1 Restarts
If you commit one of the offences below during your P1 period, you’ll have to restart your P1 period again and you must hold your P1 licence for a continuous period of 12 months before you can get a P2 licence –
    - exceed the speed limit by 10km/h or more
    - using a mobile phone when driving
    - drive with alcohol in the body
    - failure to wear a seatbelt
    - failure to comply with the LAMS condition
    - failing to wear an Australian Approved helmet
    - failing to display P Plates

  2. how many P plates do you have to display, is it more than one? or is it meant to be 'a P plate'?
  3. Haha, it's very interesting that you're forced to wear a seat-belt.

  4. Yeah but i feel like service tas just sucks so bad and doesnt pick up on a lot of this type of stuff.

I got caught doing 15kmh over the speed limit and still got my P2s 12 months after my p1 lmao

  5. That's the trouble when you cut and paste from the car licence manual and don't proof read.

Mind you when I'm pillioning my disabled step-son I have him secured via a 6-point seat belt:
