VIC info about VIV's

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by still_riding, May 17, 2011.

  1. I know nothing about getting a VIV in victoria or any other state for that matter.

What happens if a vehicle fails? Can it be presented again?
Do they provide you with info about what/why it failed?

It says you need to document your repairs?
    To what extent, how etc?

Any information would be more than I have now.

    Thanks in advance
  2. yeah you can retest it but you will be out of pocket another $400-500.
you need photos of the bike crashed, photo document the repairs, you need VIN's from donor bikes, they are pretty tight so make sure its all in order before you go in.

it all has to be done by an accredited repairer to sign off the documents
