idle problem

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by pot87, Mar 29, 2008.

  1. hey guys my kawasaki z250 is idleing really low almost to the point of stalling, should i take my bike to a motorbike mechenic or is there some way i can adjust the idle myself? if so i would appericate the help.

  2. LHS under ur thigh. there should be a black knob turn it clockwise.
  3. okay cool thanks mate i'll give that a go man.
  4. turns out it was the air filter screw that was causing the bike to idle down low, i fixed that this morning and now it starts up perfect, still sometimes it has a liitle spulter but i think thats because i need to change the air filter because it looks like it hasn't been changed for awhile.
  5. do your oil and sparks also.
