I popped my cherry

  1. Pulling out at La Perouse on my first ride with a slightly foggy visor, saw late the bitumen speed hump, front wheel goes over and I instinctively grabbed the front brake, and clunk it all happens so quickly. :( Luckily just a few scratches and my front blinker isn't working. Oh and the mirror swung around on its bolt instead of breaking :p

Moral of the story: Don't use your front brake with the handlebars turned.

  2. A lesson painfully learned, but unliklely to be forgotten, I guess!! Good to hear there were no serious consequences.
