Hunter Valley overnight, late January

Discussion in 'NSW' started by NiteKreeper, Dec 22, 2010.

  1. I have the week of Australia Day off, so I'm thinking of doing an overnight run to the Hunter on the Spada. Something like:

    - Nth Richmond -> Mt Thorley via Putty
    - Mt Thorley -> Wollombi via Payne's Crossing
    - Wollombi -> Kurri Kurri via Werakata National Park
    - Overnight at Kurri Kurri for a few cleansing ales
    - Kurri Kurri -> Bucketty via Wollombi
    - Bucketty -> Wiseman's via St Albans and Webbs Creek Ferry
    - Wiseman's -> Dural via Marayla

    I'll do it by myself and have a blast, but company would be cool too...
  2. \im not 100% on the overnite thing but definitely IN for the ales.
    might come back late that day..
  3. lol Totally forgot about this one, sorry R-K!
    My circumstances have changed so I won't be overnighting either, but I'm definitely up for a ride up that way one day next week. Just waiting to hear when I'll be seeing my young fella and will post up here...
