How to be very embarassed

Discussion in 'The Pub' started by TonyE, Jul 14, 2009.

  1. I think it was the Financial Review a few years back that had an article suggesting that motorcycles should be banned...

I find it hard to be as sympathetic as I otherwise might be.

A MOTORING writer has been nabbed allegedly doing twice the speed limit in a rare Ferrari worth nearly $500,000.

Police have impounded the rare Ferrari California being driven by Financial Review motoring writer Rod Easdown, Perth Now reported.

The car was brought into Australia by Ateco Automotive and was scheduled for test drives with Western Australian media outlets this week.

The car was allegedly caught speeding through the WA Wheatbelt at 231km/h

  2. Interesting…
Other than reference to the legislation used to impound the car there is no use of the word hoon.
No mention of life threatening antisocial behaviour.
No one screaming “Think of the Childrenâ€
Oh yes it was an expensive motorcar not a motorcycle or Jap import…
  3. They should crush it
  4. I'd happily let them store it at my place for a while....
  5. GOLD!

No sympathy here. Would love to hear his explanation to his boss for that one........ "where's the car??" "ummm...... I kinda..."
  6. The other thread about this had a pic of the car as well.
  7. very very true, apparently if you go extremely quick in a nice car its cool. Doing it in a skyline is not

did the bloke lose his licence?
