How hot is too hot?

  1. Sitting inside today, air con on full bore with the temp in Melbourne expected to hit 38, It's way too hot to go for a ride.

    I normally draw the line at about 30 degrees, unless I really have to ride to work or something.

    So question is, how hot is too hot?
  2. 30deg?! I understand that going for a fun ride or a hard ride in 38deg would be less than ideal, but it's not *that* bad if you keep the fluids up, dress right and what ever you do don't stop in the sun.
  3. i draw the line if it's over 35 degrees.
    just gets toooo hot on the adelaide plains!

    of course i COULD be tempted to head into the hills on a hot day - it's always cooler there!
