Hornet 900 fuel cap breather

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by mitelo, Sep 11, 2015.

  1. After riding for a while, an hour or so, my fuel cap will not release!! If the bike is left long enough it is not a problem, otherwise I have to gently swing on the key and lock cover to free it, it is definitely sucking so I am assuming the breather is blocked but how to check and free it is the issue and where is it.

  2. Used to have a 900, I cant remember ever having that problem, 'hornet' is mod on here and has owned one for eons, worth send h7m a pm, otherwise download the manual.
