Honda's MotoGP Gearbox Explained.

  1. Recent Patent documents on Honda's MotoGP gearbox explains the structure of their new gearbox. It offers Seamless shifts, no conventional gearbox selector forks, and easy shifts due to the changing moving parts are never under load. Some teething problems existing with downshifts are reported.

    Not sure I completely understand the design though, sounds good though.
