Honda Spada VT250 clutch cable

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' at netrider.net.au started by art_vandelay, Oct 29, 2014.

  1. Hi,

Does anyone know if there's a compatible Honda clutch cable for the Honda Spada?

I've called around and no one knows if the clutch cable off a VTR250 is compatible or not.

Unfortunately the part number I've found on the forum is not available.

I'm waiting for a call from a wrecker for a second hand one.

    Any assistance would be great.

  2. If you take in the old cable to a wreckers or workshop, they can often make one up for you with the correct circumference and length.

  3. Thanks for the reply.

I ordered a VTR250 cable last week and finally got it today.

It fits fine. If anyone else is interested in this.

    Thanks again.

  4. I'm having a similar issue.

Which year model VTR250 clutch cable did you buy? The earlier models use pn 22870-KFK-000 and the newer models use pn 22870-KFK-730.

  5. I'll check the part number tonight for you and post it up.

  7. If you can't find one, message Streetmaster and he has a contact for a repairer I believe...
