Honda Spada tripmeter reset

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by art_vandelay, May 8, 2010.

  1. G'day all,

I've recently purchased a Honda Spada. Anyone how to reset the tripmeter using the little knob after filling up the tank? I've tried pushing, pulling and turning it and it added extra k's on it.

Could it be stuck or is there a trick to it?

    Any help would be great.

  2. No need to push, pull or whatever, just turning/twisting the knob should do it, unless there's something wrong with it. When you first twist it, it adds k's but keep going till the 0's line up. Simple really.

For what it's worth, I used to get around 180/190kms before hitting reserve.
  3. What Jorge said; just turn it until all the digits change to zeros. :)
  4. Cheers Jorge and Spots. That did the job. I freaked out when I first saw the top tripmeter change.
