Honda Spada fender eliminator fabrication.

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' at netrider.net.au started by trigger184, Jun 14, 2009.

  1. Has anyone got any thoughts on fabricating some sort of tail tidy for the spada?

Hacking off that god awful hunk of plastic the number plate is mounted to, not only the reflector but pretty much the whole thing, right up under the tail light.

Maybe mounting some form of flat bar to the frame behind the seating cowls?

    Whats ya'll thinking?
  2. yeah it is tempting, i am thinking of doing the same with the vtr but, concerned about the legal side of it.
  3. In what respect? Does the VTR have the reflector? Is that what makes it illegal? removing the reflector?

If so then thats bull, why doesnt every bike have a reflector mounted there?

    Is that what you meant?
  4. if you draw a line from center of axle, you are meant to have less then a 45 degree area where rocks and crap can fly out of.

Bro in law just bought a ninga 09 ( damn that had a bad tail) and did the kit, went for a short rid, and got a please explain but he has a hugger to keep it legal.

Wouldnt mind finding out from some one with a legal back ground how much i can tidy the back up .
