Honda Hornet 900 Passenger Grab Rail Bolts (Help!)

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by abadacus, Dec 12, 2012.

  1. Yes, I know I'm an idiot :p
Fiddled around with the rear end to give the hornet a good clean yesterday,

Today, I come home from a quick ride and look what I (don't) find

Does anyone have any (2) spare bolts + the little caps that I can have?

    Willing to pay!
  2. pretty sure the honda dealership will swap you some bolts for some money.
  3. take one to a bolt shop and get a handful of stainless ones for less than honda will charge you for one
  4. Planning to go the local nuts and bolts shop first and see if they can sell me two bolts. Their online shop only sells them in lots of 100 lol

If that fails, then off to teh local honda dealer!
  5. I'd just go straight to the dealer and order the parts that actually match the two you are still holding on to. While genuine parts do tend to be expensive, bolts, pins, o-rings, washers etc are all priced very reasonably. I doubt it will cost you much more than $5 for all four pieces from the dealer. You can order over the phone and pick them up when they arrive. Saves a lot of stuffing around.
