  1. Don't actually know if all this info is true or not and couldn't be bothered looking it up, but either way was written well :)

    History Lesson

Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

    Now it gets really weird.

    Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .

    Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

    And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Creepy huh, Hey, this is one history lesson

  2. EEEWWWWW! She died 5 August 1962. He died 22 November 1963. So a week before he was assasinated, she'd been casseroling for just over a year.
  3. PLUS, (tinfoil hats at the ready, folks) despite numerous government whitewashes, fewer than 10% of the American people believe that Lee Harvey Oswald shot President Kennedy.

And for the benefit of those who actually believe the Warren Commisison, presided over by a man who knew how to butter his bread correctly, later President Gerald Ford, I was alive and sentient at the time Kennedy was assassinated, and remember distinctly from day one here in Australia that no-one believed it was Oswald, and his murder by Jack Ruby only deepened the suspicion.

  4. Killjoy! Go on; make a full confession, as it may prejudice your case if I have to forge one.
  5. Hey - I'm not saying he wasn't with her - just that the image is disturbing. It may be true that "Men grow cold as girls grow old, And we all lose our charms in the end" but I think turning green and smelly is, well, beyond the pale.
  6. How exactly did my socks enter this conversation?
  7. OHMYGOD Put your tinfoil hats back on...
I have 2 kids and their names are JACK & RUBY :0
  8. Anyone got triplets called Lee, Harvey & Ossie?
  9. No but I've got two cousins called Grassy and Knoll!
  10. Anybody want to buy an M1938 Manlicher-Carcano? Only fired twice, or maybe once, or maybe not at all.......
  11. You are too funny, inci!!!
