Hi-rise Exhaust for a Honda Firestorm

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' at netrider.net.au started by PatFirestorm, Sep 1, 2015.

  1. Hi all,

I'm in Sydney and just ordered some Yoshi RS-3 Slip on's but I want them to sit up high near the rear cowl like the Staintune variant. Does anyone know anyone who'd be able to do that kind of work?
Basically the link pipes would need bending /re-work and the rear pegs might need a spacer or two added onto them.

I've already asked Ben at Extreme Creations in Brooky.
  2. Welcome to NR.

Whereabouts are you? Trooper Lu's in Moorebank does custom work. Some car exhaust places do bike work as well (Hi-tech in Darlinghurst and Racers Choice in Seven Hills come to mind).
  3. Most exhaust companies do a high level exhaust system for your bike you may struggle to get link pipes on their own
  4. Thanks Hyperspex. Yeah, tried Trooper Lu's. They've said they won't do it as the Yoshi's are a different length to the Staintune system and the bracket set-up is different. Pretty disappointed since I know it's possible, it's just difficult and expensive. Which i'm happy to compensate for. Might try those two exhaust specialists you mentioned. If you think of anyone that likes a challenge, feel free to throw it up for me.
