  1. Holy. Freaking. Shit. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle trailer is up.

Eyes look a bit weird - I don't think the original early 80s gruesome graphic novel style that they used looked too great in the closing scenes of the trailer, but I'm willing to give it a chance before I make any big calls on that.

    Otherwise, it looks freaking rad.

  2. Looks bodacious.

I loved the nasty-pasty turtles back in the day, those head choppin' eyeball skewering bad boys. Hopefully this flick picks up all that dark, dark shit without taking the piss too much.

The first movie was woeful. And that rap song....
  3. the rap song was from the second movie Loz.

Go Ninja Go Ninja Go! c'mon, it was the pinnicle of Vanila Ice's carreer!!

totally wicked trailer - love the dark mixed with Michaelangelo's humour.

    can't wait to see this!
  4. Yeah Loz, 'twas the second. The first movie was badass, watch yo' mouth! :p
  5. Have not looked at the trailer yet, busy at work ! . . . yeah right ! ;)

Who is playing April O'Neil ?
I hope its an improvement with the last one.

I have that Turtle Power song on MP3.
I don't know who the rapper is though.
  6. I have the soundtrack on tape!
  7. MickyB: It's a CG movie, nobody's playing anybody heh (Except for voice acting, I guess).
  8. I've probably got the video clip on Betamax ! . . . huh, whats Betamax

You know when you were young you use to tape video clips and stuff. I found this old box a few weekends ago with old Beta and VHS tapes. Most of it crap from the late 80s early 90s. I wonder if kids these days still record video hits and rage ????
  9. I'm sure there were 3 TMNT movies made in the early 90s.

    The first one.
The second one where Rocksteady and Bebop (the rhino mutant) were introduced.
And a third when they went back in time to ancient Samurai era japan.

Is my memory serving me straight or have I imagined it ???? :?
  10. Nope, you're right :)

There's no VCR at my folks place, only DVD players heh. So my sibs download whatever they want to watch!
  11. If it's half as good as the original movie it'll be great.

They do look kinda weird though :?
  12. memory is correct except the mutants weren't actuallt beebop & rocksteady - they were a mutant wolverine & snapping turtle. And they were stupid babies.

first one was good - rest were lame after that.
But I'll never forget this line:

    "Look! It's Raph!!'
"yeah - a little TOO Raph"
  13. It was a wolf, not a wolverine :)
  14. ah yes it was thanks for clarifying
  15. Can see it now the big thing & must have for xmas 06
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stuff for a new generations of kids.
Can almost hear the big merchandise push now.
  16. They already do that, the new cartoon has been on tv for a couple of years now :)
