help with my 1988 cbr250r

  1. help my cbr250r yesterday would cold start, then when i finally got it running it ran for a trip to work(35mins) then 3/4 of the way home its just died. i had to restart it with the throttle fully open then it died again after about 30sec idling. it repeated that 3 times and now it wont fire at all. can someone help or point me in the right direction to someone who can fix in west sydney PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Silly question perhaps, but are you sure the fuel tap is in the correct position and that it has fuel?

  3. i have the same prob with my 88 cbr250r. its impossible to start cold. the carb is prob flooded. gotta roll start it.
    get it moving to about 20 kph, then go from neutral to 1st gear. when u hear the engine start, clutch in and apply some throttle.

    i'm tryin to find out wats causing my prob....dammit.
