Help - what tyre should i put 07 ktm 450

  1. Hello, I have just bought new michelin AC 10 - 110/100 - 18 it looks to small on my ktm 450.



    Still new so going to return, is the s12 good what size should i get????

  2. That tyre is the factory size for a Honda CRF450X, your factory tyre should be a 130/90 18 tyre. Nice and fat.

  4. Depends on how your planning on using the bike, owning such a machine you'd be taking it off-road so a big nobby tyre is what you want. The 110/100-18 wont be as good compared to the 130 or 140 tyre.
    BUT for the road nobby tyres aren't the best on dry tarmac, skid alot under quick stops.

    Reasearching the Michelin 140 you speak of seems like a good bet, it is road legal and "up there as being the best all-rounder tyre used by champions world-wide on all terrain surfaces".

    Cant go wrong, give it a try.
