HELP - Im so lost - what bike?!?

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' at netrider.net.au started by Fa1c0n, Mar 25, 2011.

  1. Ive been set on getting a huge cruiser when i get off my Ps...

    But its changing:

I had a go on an old CBR250 and it was fun. And im jelous of how easily they can filter.

I would love a Triumph rocket 3 but i think filtering would almost be impossible due to the size?

The other thing is i need a bike that the missus would be comfortable on.

I dont want one that she has to hold on for dear life because the seat is only 3 inches wide.

I was thinking that a motard might be fun?

Please guys what thoughts do we have?

Should i get a sports bike and keep the cruiser for when im an old man?

  2. No, only occasionally.

Your missus on the back of a motard?:rofl::rofl:

Probably, but you could compromise with a sports tourer.
Another thought - looked at an MT-01?
  3. The MT-01 is a good idea actually.

Anyone rode one? are they quick?
  4. Sports tourer or naked would probably be the way to go.

    Failing that, a CBF1000. Awesome bike :)
  5. Ninja 1000 sports tourer - upright like a naked, wind protection like a sports bike, comfy seats like a cruiser, and the coolest bike on 2 wheels.
  6. 900 hornet?
    Harley tourer.
Not a motard if youre going further than the shops..
  7. Surely there must be another sports tourer option out there . . . .
  8. I think something like this may be more suited to your style:busting:

  9. CT110 turbo.....................................................................................................109 more than an MT01.
  10. Watch this and see if it ticks your boxes ... though note that the luggage isn't available in australia yet.

  11. that might be too much of a sports bike i think.
  12. That's good - at least that helps people know what you like and what you don't.

And I might still be the only one in Melbourne with such an awesome bike ;)
  13. Oh well, i hate you all lol. just went though red hill and flinders on my mates CBR 250...

Im getting a CBR 600 when im off my restrictions lol..... Decision made
  14. As I say to everyone, go to bike shops, look at them, sit on them, do they even fit your frame?
Test ride, make a shortlist and google your ass off.
