Helmet speakers

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by Noticibly F.A.T, Apr 30, 2008.

  1. I just bought some off ebay.

    Cost me $30

Now, i havn't ridden with them yet, as i only just put them in.
I use an ipod shuffle to play them...

And, i think they won't be loud enough. Does anyone else have the same problem with the shuffle, or is it just the speakers???

I might try and borrow my mates gen 4 ipod tomorrow and see if its louder.....
  2. Generally any speakers in the helmet itself will require amplification.
Earmould "wires" and other in ear type monitors work very well without an amp.
If you want more than just iPod you'll need a system like StarCom1 etc.
