Helmet Repair?

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' at netrider.net.au started by offtrack, Jan 10, 2013.

  1. Can anyone recommend a glue to stick some rubber back to my helmet?

I understand that some glues 'could' weaken the structure, but I only need to re-attach the rubber that runs around the base of the helmet, particularly under the chin area. Also, it is on the outside, to wont effect the foam or lining etc.

  2. Urethane , its good shit they use it to put windscreens in.
I have used it alot when people come in wanting things stuck down .
Just make sure its clean from dirt/dust .
  3. Bit late, but silicone glue is pretty safe for most things.
